Casting "My Father, Dick (Richard)", a short film. Logline: The impact of a father's betrayal is revealed through the eyes of a child, culminating in a shocking funeral confrontation. Director Bio: Ketsia Beboua (she/her) is a Toronto-based director and writer, telling bold, thought-provoking stories across film and television. Her work blends comedy, drama, and surrealism to explore identity and purpose, with credits including the PBS-aired short doc Passion & Pursuit and the surrealist short Thalia, which premiered at NFFTY 2026. She's currently developing a half-hour comedy MisDirected (optioned by Archipelago). She studied Film & Media Production in college and has continued her growth through Sundance Collab courses and the Soho House x CFC Mentorship, where she was mentored by Andrew Barnsley. There will be festival distribution and an online release in 2027 for this project. *This is an unpaid, self-funded production. Meals provided on set. Footage provided for reels.
