Seeking Teen Talent for "Innocence Lost" Play
Seeking boys and girls ages 13+ to portray roles in production of "Innocence Lost". Please, see the detais below. About the Play: "Innocence Lost" tells the story of the 1959 murder of twelve-year-old Lynne Harper near Clinton, Ontario, and the subsequent conviction of fourteen-year-old Steven Truscott. Through the voices of those who lived through the events, the play explores how a small community was affected by the crime, the trial, decades of controversy, and the eventual determination that Truscott’s conviction represented a miscarriage of justice. Using documentary-style storytelling, actors portray real people whose lives were shaped by the case. The play examines memory, truth, justice, and the lasting impact of a tragedy on a rural Ontario community. Additional information: Auditions for Innocence Lost: A Play about Stephen Truscott will be held in Kingston, ON. Performance Dates: October 15-31, 2026. Please note that October 24th will be a 2-performance date. Matinee at 2 PM and 7:30 PM. Auditions will consist of cold readings from selected scenes of the play. Actors will read with other auditioners and may be asked to explore more than one role during the audition. No prepared monologue is required.
