About the project: From Tony winners Terrence McNally, Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens, creators of such Broadway classics as Ragtime and Once on This Island, this dazzling show transports its audience from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing con man and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love and family. Rated PG. Additional info: Please note: there is a production fee applied. Prepare 16-32 bars from a musical (no longer than one minute) using smartphone accompaniment in the appropriate key. Please no background vocals and no a cappella singing. The directors WILL NOT have a piano accompanist. Sing any song of your choice that best represents your talent and vocal range (a song from the show is fine). Bring one copy of your resume. Be sure it is up to date. If you do not have a resume, there will be room on your audition form to list any pertinent information you would like the directors to know about you. Bring one photo or a headshot. If you do not have a professional picture, a school photo will do. It’s important that the directors are able to reference you when casting is taking place. Bring a list of your conflicts. It’s important for the directors to know your schedule to make sure you are available for all of the rehearsals you will be required to attend.
