Performers in grades 5-12 are welcome to audition for "Godspell Jr." and "Mary Poppins JR." Shows. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Rehearsals for "Godspell Jr." will generally be Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-6:30 pm, beginning January 12, with the addition of Saturday January 31, time TBA. Tech Week is March 23-26, 2026. Performances are march 27-29, 2026. You must be available for ALL tech week rehearsals and ALL performances. Rehearsals for "Mary Poppins Jr." will generally be Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-6:30 pm, beginning April 8th, with the addition of Saturday April 25 and May 23, 2026 times TBA. Due to the Memorial Day Holiday, Tech Week is May20, 21, 23, 26-27, 2026. Performances are May 28-31, 2026. You must be available for ALL tech rehearsals and ALL performances. Students will be expected to bring their scripts, pencil, and a water bottle to every rehearsal. Please have students eat PRIOR to rehearsal so that we can maximize the time together. Also, students will be required to wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes. Please, no Crocs, slides, flip flops, or sandals, as they present safety issues. Cell phones will need to remain out of sight for the entirety of every rehearsal. Note that a fee will be applied. If interested, please apply.

Jesus is a natural-born teacher. Cast a performer who is a good singer and is comfortable taking on a leadership position without being bossy or judgmental. Jesus experiences a full array of emotions during the show, so you want to find a solid actor who can convincingly perform this range.

One performer plays both of these roles, which is quite a challenge. This actor must be charismatic in the opening, headstrong and comical in the middle of the show, and eventually turn on Jesus at the end. All of this while being a great singer, too. You will definitely want to cast one of your strongest singers and actors in this role. Be creative. There is no reason Judas/John the Baptist can't be performed by a girl.

He is a song-and-dance man with oodles of charm who is wise beyond his years. Cast your strongest male singer, dancer, and actor in this role.

Husband to Winifred and father to Jane and Michael, is a banker to the very fiber of his being. Demanding "precision and order" in his household, he is a pip-and-slippers man who doesn't have much to do with his children and believes that Miss Andrew, his cruel, strict childhood nanny, gave him the perfect upbringing. George's emotional armor, however off-putting, conceals a sensitive soul. A baritone, George may speak-sing as necessary and should be among your strongest male actors and singers.

Since she carries a majority of the show, precision and diction are key.

Katie Nanna is Jane and Michael’s nanny at the beginning of the show. Overwhelmed and upset, she has absolutely had her fill of the Banks children. This role is perfect for a performer who is not quite ready for a larger role.
