Casting Teen Performers for "The Phantom Tollbooth" Play

Seeking Teen Actors for the Stage Production "The Phantom Tollbooth." Please see the details below. About the project: The story follows a bored young boy named Milo who unexpectedly receives a magic tollbooth that transports him to the once prosperous, but now troubled, Kingdom of Wisdom. Along with a dog named Tock and the Humbug, Milo goes on a quest to the Castle in the Air seeking the kingdom's two exiled princesses, named Rhyme and Reason. As Milo learns valuable lessons, he finds a love of learning in a story full of puns and wordplay, such as exploring the literal meanings of idioms. Additional info: Callbacks are Monday, November 17 at 7:00 pm (Some roles are already doubled up in the play. Futher doubling is possible) Tentative rehearsal schedule. Monday through Thursday - 5:30 - 7:00 pm. Some Saturdays, as needed Rehearsals begin Monday, December 1 Play opens January 17 and runs for 3 weekends, performing at 1:00 pm Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
