NATIONWIDE CANADA CASTING! Seeking boys and girs ages 10-15 for a feature film "Trish". More details are below. About the project: Trish, late 40s, leads a monotonous life as an accounting technician in a dehumanizing firm. Once passionate about archaeology, she now finds meaning only in her bond with her niece Andrea and a struggling community dojo run by the principled Sensei Sami. Outraged by corporate greed, Trish secretly embezzles funds to save the dojo. Her indignation draws the attention of Stanley, an undercover agent investigating her corrupt bosses. Torn between exposing them and protecting herself, Trish ultimately chooses truth over fear. Though her confession strains her relationship with Sami, his eventual forgiveness and admiration restore her sense of worth. PRINCIPAL ROLE. Andrea, 15 yo, is Trish's favorite niece (Trish's sister's daughter). She's a sharp-witted, sassy teen with a big heart and a quick tongue. She works part-time at the local sandwich shop and trains at Sami’s dojo. Since Andrea's mom is very busy with her own professional and love life it's her aunt who acts as the replacement mom and best friend. Their relationship is more than familial, it’s a true friendship built on trust, laughter, and deep complicity.
PRINCIPAL ROLE. Dal's son. The least gifted student of the group at the Dojo where Andrea practices Judo. He's definitely a better fighter in video games than in real life.
