A young boy, reeling from the loss of his mother, is placed in foster care. As he begins to find comfort and connection with a new family, particularly a curious young girl, his fragile sense of safety is shattered when she mysteriously disappears. Haunted by grief and driven by love, the boy journeys into the woods to face the creature that took her… and discovers the true face of the monster. Niño is a dramatic short film with themes of loss of innocence, and childhood trauma.

He longs for connection and safety, but is haunted by grief and the shadows of abandonment. A child whose innocence is tested far too soon, yet whose bravery emerges in unexpected ways.
Girl is a kid who loves to have fun, but is also aware enough to know when not to joke around. They live in a foster house with a few other kids and love to spend their time playing games with them and any adult who's willing.
