About the project: Empty Promises is a psychological horror short film written by yours truly. It follows Nancy, a trauma survivor who finds herself in a dangerous relationship with Shan, a charming but deeply violent and manipulative man. What begins as a seemingly tender love story gradually unravels into a harrowing descent into emotional abuse, gaslighting, and physical captivity. Rate: UNPAID ROLES: Credit, Meals, & Reel Provided.
