Casting Call for Boys and Girls for "Little Mermaid" Show

Kids and teens ages 10 and up are welcome to audition for the "Little Mermaid" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: You will sing around 1 minute of a musical theatre song of your choice. Directors prefer you have an accompaniment track to play from your phone on our speaker or we can pull it up for you if it’s off of Youtube. You may be asked to do a quick two 8-count dance for Becca or say a line or two for Amanda within your 5-minute slot. Callbacks will take place on Thursday, May 1st. Not everyone will receive a callback. If you accept the role offered to you, rehearsals will begin on May 12th. Most rehearsals will take place at the Mustang Performing Arts Center, with occasional rehearsals at The Cube. Most rehearsals will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings from 6-9 pm. Some small groups/leads may be called for a Saturday rehearsal based on availability. Tech week is Monday, June 23rd- Thursday, June 26th, with performances on Friday evening, June 27th, and Saturday afternoon & evening, June 28th. Tech rehearsals are required for you to be in the cast. These rehearsals are imperative to the safety and success of our show. If you have a completely unavoidable conflict that week, this must be made known to directors at your audition. Performances will be on Friday, June 27th at 7 pm and Saturday, June 28th at 2 pm and 7 pm. If interested, please apply.
