10 roles
This Intrepid journalist is a fast-talking, inquisitive reporter pig. A tough sow in a hog’s world, seeker of truth and justice, and the audience’s best friend in their hunt for the full story.
The presiding Judge is a thoroughly biased, hard-as-nails, utterly corrupt cog in the wheel of what passes for justice in Pennsylvania.
The defendant is a soulful wolf with a toothy grin. Beneath the gruff image is a love for gourmet cooking and the fine arts. He’s a charmer… or perhaps a con artist? But still a carnivore to the core.
The prosecuting attorney is a dramatic, over the top firebrand of a lawyer pig; prone to speechifying. She will do or say anything to win a case, no matter how low or manipulative.
The witness is a clever pig, geeky and unassuming; a fancier of masonry and construction.
A handsome, dashing doctor pig; a paid “expert” for the prosecution.
A matronly pig, and an unwilling witness to horrific acts of carnivorism.
A big n’ brutish civil-servant pig.
Ensemble-type piggies
Some puppetry will be involved in certain scenes, so those with puppetry experience are encouraged to audition.
