Deerfield Theater Seeking Male Actors
Deerfield Theater is seeking a talented young actor (approx. age 11-13) to play Wally Webb in our upcoming production of Our Town. This timeless classic offers a heartfelt exploration of community, family, and the beauty of everyday life—themes that are as relevant to today’s audiences as they were when the play was first written. Production Dates: March 28, 29, 30 April 4, 5, 6 April 11, 12, 13 Caruso Auditorium, Deerfield Rehearsals: Begin the week of January 6 at Jewett Park Community Center in Deerfield. Wally is the younger brother of Emily. Wally is a small but important role. The actor cast will have the opporutnity to learn pantomime from a pantomime specialist (an excellent skill to put on a resume). While there is no pay, this is a wonderful opporutnity to work with an talented cast of all ages, and a director who is used to working with young actors. Also, Our Town is a great credit for a resume! We will work with actor conflicts.
