Casting Teen Performers for "Catch Me If You Can" Show
Performers between the ages of 13 and 18 are invited to audition for the "Catch Me If You Can" Show. Please see the details below. Additional info: There will be an audition form to complete when you arrive. Directors will take everyone in order and move through these relatively quickly. Those bringing staff gifts will obviously be taken first. Please come prepared with 30-one minutes of a song, preferably from the show, especially if auditioning for a principal role. If you don’t sing a song from the show directors are not going to scream at you. They prefer that you sing with the piano accompaniment versus a recording on your phone. This musical, as you may know, has incredible dance numbers. Directors will likely be dancing your butt off at auditions, so please dress appropriately. CALLBACKS: Tuesday, November 26th, 7 pm. REHEARSALS There is construction work being done on all dance rooms from December 15 to an estimated January 15. As a result, and to stay on our schedule to run Act I before Christmas break, we are rehearsing a little heavier for the first two weeks. Eventually we will settle into a Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday schedule. The first two weeks is working around a few other shows and conflicts and that’s the reason for differing days of the week. Sunday 12/1: 1:00-5:00 Wednesday 12/4: 7:00-10:00 Thursday 12/5: 7:00-10:00 Friday 12/6: 6:00-9:00 Sunday 12/8: 1:00-5:00 Monday 12/9: 7:00-10:00 Wednesday 12/11: 7:00-10:00 Thursday 12/12: 7:00-10:00 You will receive a full, detailed schedule at the first rehearsal. Directors will ask on the audition form that you identify any conflicts Sunday-Thursday, so please come prepared with those to save time.
