"A Quiet Place" on Broadway
Adapted for the Nederlander Theatre in New York, New York. "A Quiet Place" is a thrilling adaptation of the acclaimed film, set in a post-apocalyptic world where silence is survival. The story follows the Abbott family as they navigate their lives while avoiding sound-sensitive creatures. The project itself is under a strict NDA, and those who apply must sign the agreement before receiving their audition materials. We're having an open casting call for the family's three children, Regan, Marcus, and Beau. Initial auditions are open through October and December, with callbacks in January, and performances currently set for 2026. The couple's deaf daughter, a bit tomboyish, who is both vulnerable and fiercely intelligent. Her deafness is both a challenge and a strength, allowing her to communicate, and interpret the creature differently from the rest of her family, and even the rest of the known world. If you are auditioning for Regan, please have a prior basic understanding of sign language.
The sensitive and impressionable younger son of the family. He embodies the anxiety and fear that constantly control the Abbott household. He struggles to adapt to the gravity of their situation, and often can't find any joy against his fear of the creatures. Sign language will be taught at callbacks, if needed, not featured in the initial audition.
