Seeking late teen actors for "Antigone" Play. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Jean Anouilh's play Antigone is a tragedy inspired by the play of the same name by Sophocles. Two brothers, Eteocles and Polyneices, have killed each other in battle. Their uncle Creon ascends to the throne and orders that Eteocles be given a state funeral, and Polyneices is to be left outside the city gates to be eaten by wild animals. Anyone trying to bury Polyneices is to be put to death. Antigone, their sister, defies her uncle’s decree. Her passion and strength set her in opposition to Creon, the most powerful man in the world. Additional info: Please prepare a one-minute monologue, or be prepared to cold read a provided monologue. Bring a headshot and resume if you have one. If interested, please apply.
