About the project: The Museum of the American Revolution is looking for Black voice actors to narrate the stories of 5 historical figures in our “Finding Freedom” online interactive resource. “Finding Freedom” explores the stories of five real people of African descent (2 women, 3 men) living in Virginia in 1781. Voice actors must be able to speak with a convincing Virginian southern accent. Each historical figure’s script is under 400 words. Rate: $30/hour for 3 hours of talent plus $600 in studio fees.
