"Evelyn" Supernatural Horror Short Film Needs a Girl
Looking for a voice-over actress for "Evelyn" in a Supernatural Horror Short Film. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: Pay is $100 with film credit. Additional info: Recording: Remote. All recording work can be completed remotely. Applicants should have access to decent-quality recording equipment and be able to provide clean voice recordings with minimal background noise or echo. Examples of the emotional progression include: Sweet and curious: “Evelyn.” Quiet and possessive: “I don’t like him.” Manipulative: “Make him leave.” Dark and threatening: “Push her.” Cold and sinister: “You can’t throw me away.” Video auditions will be accepted by email. The sinister porcelain doll at the center of our upcoming supernatural horror short film, EVELYN. Looking for a naturally youthful voice. The younger and more innocent the voice sounds, the better. Evelyn should initially sound sweet, soft, curious, and almost comforting, but as the story progresses, that innocence becomes increasingly disturbing, manipulative, and threatening. This is not intended to be an exaggerated “demon voice.” Directors want Evelyn to sound believable and childlike.
