About the project:
Lust! Paranoia! Murder! All rolled into one. Set in All-American 1950s suburbia, Dr. Carroll, principal of the local high school, warns how one puff of pot can lead clean-cut teenagers down the road to insanity, death, and worse. Stopping at nothing to make his point, Dr. Carroll tells the sad, sordid story of how the nicest kids in town are lured into a world of violence, weird orgies, wild parties, unleashed passions, and drug-crazed abandon. A spoof of the 1936 cult classic film.

Roles are unpaid, BUT the directors collect cash and Venmo tips after each performance that are divided amongst the cast.

About the project:
Bye Bye Birdie is a classic musical that captures the energy and excitement of the late 1950s with a perfect blend of warmth, hilarity, and a timeless score. It follows the story of rockstar singer, Conrad Birdie, who has been drafted into the Army. As his farewell, the charismatic teen is chosen to appear on a national television show, giving rise to a frenzy of teenage girls who will do anything to be his last kiss. The show is a perfect blend of rock & roll, nostalgia, and good old-fashioned fun, making Bye Bye Birdie a must-see for any musical theatre fan.

A 1 minute monologue in any style.  (You may also choose to do a cold read at auditions).
Please wear comfortable shoes as a short dance combination will be taught.

About the project:
Biloxi Blues is a play written by Neil Simon. It is a semi-autobiographical work that follows a young soldier, Eugene Morris Jerome, during his time in basic training in Biloxi, Mississippi, during World War II. The play explores themes of adolescence, coming-of-age, and the challenges of military life. It premiered on Broadway in 1985 and was later adapted into a film in 1988.

About the project:
Here is Rydell High's senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding "Burger Palace Boys" and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking "Pink Ladies" in bobby sox and pedal pushers, evoking the look and sound of the 1950s in this rollicking musical. Head "greaser" Danny Zuko and new (good) girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the high romance of their "Summer Nights" as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as "Greased Lightnin'," "It's Raining on Prom Night," "Alone at the Drive-In Movie" recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard, and Elvis Presley that became the soundtrack of a generation. An eight-year run on Broadway and two subsequent revivals, along with innumerable school and community productions place Grease among the world's most popular musicals.

The anything-for-a-laugh stocky type of boy; a clown who enjoys winding people up, he is full of mischief and is always dreaming up half-baked schemes and ideas.
