Kids Wanted for "A Christmas Carol" Auditions

"A Christmas Carol" Auditions for kids. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: "A Christmas Carol" has always held a special place in my heart. From the original novella by Charles Dickens, to the Disney version starring Scrooge McDuck, the many stage adaptations, and (my personal favorite) the Muppet Christmas Carol starring Michael Caine as Scrooge and Gonzo as Dickens. This story is important; it tells of redemption, but also that we should care for others not only at Christmas, but the whole year round. Additional info: Come ready to have fun, meet the creative team, and find your place in this classic Christmas story! Performances: December 4–6 Friday & Saturday | 7:00 PM Saturday & Sunday | 2:30 PM In this production, the choir narrates the show through classic English carols. They take on various ensemble roles throughout the show, popping in and out of scenes as named characters. I felt it was important to include English carols that would have been sung during Dickens’ time, to keep the setting as authentic as possible. This script offers doubling, allowing for a flexible cast of 26 at minimum, or 32-46 at the ideal number. See the docuemnt attached. If interested, please apply.
