Ebenezer Scrooge’s cold and miserly heart has no room for tidings of comfort and joy – until one unforgettable Christmas Eve, when four ghosts appear to him throughout the night. Scrooge is forced to examine his past, present, and future, searching his soul for any chance of hope and redemption. This traditional retelling of Dickens’ cherished Christmas classic illuminates the holidays with warmth, cheer, and favorite songs of the season. Soprano. The eldest Cratchit child. A hardworking, caring, and loving young woman in her late teens who apprentices with a milliner.
Tenor. Martha Cratchit’s eldest brother. He is hardworking, spirited, loving, and dutiful toward his family.
Alto. The youngest Cratchit daughter, she is cheerful, energetic, and slightly rebellious. A hardworking, opinionated girl.
To play age 7, alto/tenor. The youngest Cratchit child, he is a frail, disabled boy who symbolizes innocent suffering and moral virtue. Despite his physical limitations—using a crutch and wearing a leg iron—he is incredibly cheerful, pious, and selfless.
Scrooge’s beloved younger sister. Known for her joyful spirit, big-heartedness, and devotion to her brother, Fan rescues Scrooge from boarding school. She is Frederick’s mother.
The youngest version of Scrooge. We meet him at the boarding school in one of Scrooge’s memories.
A streetwise young man. Helps Scrooge procure a turkey for the Cratchits.
