"A Christmas Carol" Show Needs Kids and Teens

Kids and teens are invited to audition for the "A Christmas Carol" Show. Please see the details below. About the project: This special one-hour performance (based on Charles Dickens's story, adapted by Dr. Andrew Harris) is an annual family tradition at MRT. Each season, more people are discovering this timeless story in a way only MRT can tell it, with families coming back every year and making it part of their holiday tradition. The miserly Ebenezer Scrooge is taught the true meaning and spirit of Christmas by ghosts who show him his own past and present. He is also shown what the future holds for him if he doesn't change his ways. The show is rated PG due to ghosts and thematic elements around death. Rate: Children (17 years of age and under) will be given two comp tickets to be shared with family or friends. Additional info: FULL CAST FIRST READ THROUGH: Oct. 8 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM REHEARSALS: Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays from 6:30 PM to 9 PM. Call time/days will vary depending on the scenes being worked on. At read-through, a full rehearsal schedule will be provided with specifics on locations & who will be called. LOAD IN & SET BUILD: Sunday, December 6th, with Cue to Cue from 4-8 PM TECH WK REHEARSALS: Monday & Tuesday, December 7 & 8 from 6:30 to 10 PM DRESS REHEARSAL: Thursday, December 10 at 6:30 PM PICK-UP REHEARSAL: Thursday, December 17 at 6:30 PM SHOW DATES Total of 8 shows: Friday, December 11 at 8 pm Saturday, December 12 - 1:30 pm, 4:30 pm, & 7:30 pm Friday, Dec. 18th at 7:30 pm Saturday, Dec. 19th at 1:30 pm & 4:30 pm, & 7:30 pm Please do not audition if you have any conflicts with tech week or performance dates.
