Dear Evan Hansen is a contemporary musical that explores loneliness, identity, mental health, and the universal desire to belong. When a misunderstanding places socially anxious teenager Evan Hansen at the center of a grieving family’s life, he becomes caught in a web of lies that brings him the connection and acceptance he has always longed for. As the truth grows more difficult to contain, Evan must confront the consequences of his choices and discover what it truly means to be seen, heard, and understood. Additional info: Callbacks (by invitation only): Saturday, October 24 What to Prepare: - 1–2 minute memorized contemporary monologue. - 32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre or pop song. Actors may bring sheet music for the provided pianist or use an accompaniment track. A Bluetooth device will be available for playback. - Please wear clothing and shoes you can comfortably dance/move in, as a dance combination will be taught as part of the preliminary audition.
