Seeking Boys and Girls for "Madagascar Jr." Show

Looking for 2nd-6th graders for the "Madagascar Jr." Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: You will sing around 1 minute of a musical theatre song of your choice. Directors prefer you have an accompaniment track to play from your phone on our speaker, or we can pull it up for you if it’s on YouTube. You may be asked to do a quick two 8-count dance or say a line or two for our director within your 5-minute slot. If you accept the role offered to you, rehearsals will begin on Monday, August 17th. Rehearsals will be at The Cube. Rehearsals will take place on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings from 6-8 pm. Not everyone is called for every rehearsal. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be given to the cast at the first rehearsal. This rehearsal process is VERY short! If you have more than 3 conflicts on the listed dates between 6-8 pm, it is recommended that you email Becca before signing up for an audition slot so she can advise you whether to move forward with participating in the show. REHEARSAL DATES: August 17, 18, 20, 25, 27, 31, September 1, 3, 8, 10 Tech rehearsals will be September 14th, 15th, 16th, & 17th from 5-8:30 pm with performances on Friday, September 18th at 7 pm & Saturday at 3 pm & 7 pm. Tech rehearsals and performances will be at the Mustang Performing Arts Center! Performances are Friday, September 18th at 7 pm & Saturday, September 19th at 3 pm & 7 pm.
