About the project: Bandstand is a high-energy, emotionally powerful Broadway musical set-in post-World War II America. It follows a group of returning veterans who form a swing band to compete in a national radio contest. As they chase fame and a fresh start, each member struggles with the invisible wounds of war, friendship, love, and finding purpose in a changed world. With electrifying 1940s swing music, live onstage musicians, and dynamic storytelling, Bandstand is both a celebration of resilience and a deeply human story about healing and hope.
