The Congregation remains onstage throughout much of the production and transforms into the citizens of Paris, Roma, gargoyles, statues, soldiers, clergy, and other featured characters. These performers are essential to the storytelling and must be strong singers, expressive actors, and confident movers. Several members will portray featured and named roles throughout the production. Must be prepared to fully embrace the demanding vocal, physical, and emotional nature of the production.
Experienced singers with strong musicianship, excellent pitch, and the ability to confidently perform complex choral harmonies. Must also be focused, collaborative performers who listen carefully, respect the rehearsal process/production team, and contribute to a positive and professional environment. The Choir functions separately from much of the staged action but is a vital and highly visible part of the production. SATB voices are needed, with particular interest in strong tenors and basses.
