With both his human and animal friends (including Polynesia the macaw, Sophie the seal, and the Pushme-Pullyou), he embarks on an expedition to find the Great Pink Sea Snail, who holds the secret to happiness and making the world a better place for all. They face incredible trials and tribulations along the way, but in the end, the good doctor teaches us not only how to talk to the animals, but to listen to them, too.
