ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Casting young actors ages 11-13 for "Sleepover" movie. Please, see the details below. About the project: In the spring of 2016, 12 year old Alissa gets invited to a sleepover by the coolest girl she knows. But when things don't go to plan, she is forced to confront her insecurities in the maze of her mind. Rate: Volunteer. Non-union. Additional information: Location: Vancouver, BC. Dates: August 8-9. Directors are super open to having non-actors or actors at all levels of experience. (Actor's age is flexible) Alissa is an angsty and socially awkward preteen who is used to finding herself on the outskirts of friend groups. She idealises the lives of girls who can easily belong.
Outgoing and confident, she has been friends with Alissa since they were little.
The cooler, richer girl that stole Alissa’s best friend Rachel. Behind her glamorous facade, Tonya is compulsively obsessed with giving the appearance of a perfect life and maintaining her perfect best friend.
(Actor must be francophone) She is friends with Tonya and best friends with Natasha.
Likes to think of herself as more grown-up and nonchalant than the other girls. She is best friends with Natalie.
She is a conformist who thrives on Tonya’s attention.
