About the project: It’s the fabulous fifties — 1950s, that is — and the little town of Shingleville is rife with suspicion and speculation. Sprout’s Malt Shop is filled with quirky characters, and one of them is guilty of murder! After all, they all have a motive when the reprehensible and unreasonable Jerry Atrick falls over dead after an unexpected blackout. Additional info: What to Prepare: Please prepare a 45-second to 1-minute comedic monologue and submit it through this Google form. Please note this show does include audience interaction, so experience with improv is a plus! There will be no callbacks. You will receive an email regarding casting from the production team by July 19th.. Rehearsals: Rehearsals will be held at the Sayreville Senior Center on select Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7:30 pm-9 pm. Not everyone will be called to every rehearsal.
