About the project: GIANT KILLER is a powerful, faith-driven drama that steps inside the high-stakes world of professional wrestling to tell a far deeper story of identity, failure, and redemption. Once a rising star in the World Wrestling Alliance, Jimmy Cross had fame, talent, and the roar of the crowd, but his unchecked pride and personal demons led to addiction, broken relationships, and a devastating fall from grace. Now, with his career fading and his family slipping away, Jimmy is offered one final shot at the spotlight he once ruled. As he prepares for a comeback, he’s forced to confront the true giants in his life. On a journey that challenges everything he believes about strength and success, Jimmy discovers that the greatest victory isn’t found in the ring but in surrendering his life to Christ and choosing an eternal purpose over worldly approval. Additional info: No acting experience is required. Participants attending the casting call will receive short audition sides from the script and audition privately with the film’s director and casting team. Memorization is not required, and auditions are designed to be relaxed and encouraging for both first-time performers and experienced actors. The production team encourages athletes, wrestlers, musicians, dancers, performers, and strong personalities from across Southeast Texas to attend.
