Kid Audition For Singing in "Mean Girls Jr." The Musical

Audition for "Mean Girls Jr." The Musical. Actors must be at least 12 years old by August 6th. Actors can be no older than 18 by August 6th. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Please plan to attend the entire audition for whichever day you choose. In advance of your audition, please prepare the verse and chorus of an age-appropriate musical theatre song. Please do not pick anything from Mean Girls Jr. Please bring a backing accompaniment track that can be played from your device. Ensure that your song does not use language that would be inappropriate for a room full of 12-18-year-old students and their parents. Choices with foul language are not permitted. Teams do not recommend performing a cappella (without a track), and directors cannot accommodate actors who wish to accompany themselves with a live instrument. Rehearsal: Rehearsals will occur on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm. Tech Week: November 2-4th from 6-9 pm Performances: Thursday, November 5th at 9:30 am (arrive at 8 am, pick up around 11 am) Friday, November 6th, and Saturday, November 7th at 7 pm (arrive at 5 pm) If interested, please apply.
