About the project: Longline: An 8-year-old girl with PTSD runs away from a foster home to confront her violent, deadbeat dad, and to piece together the fractured memory of her mother’s death. Lead. A resilient and insightful child navigating the trauma of her mother’s death. She is described as being "wise beyond her years" with a premature sadness that defines her character. Kid suffers from undiagnosed PTSD, which manifests physically through stress-induced incontinence. Her primary companions are eight Tamagotchi virtual pets that she tends to as emotional lifelines.
