"She Kills Monsters" Play Seeks Teens

A 15 year old Dungeon Master who feared nothing. The epitome of nerd and geek. In the real world she died in a car accident. In the Dungeons and Dragons universe she is Tillius the Paladin. Powerful and brave. She is a hero who is complex and struggles with her identity.

Agnes is a cheerleader. A high school senior, who desperately wants to connect with her dead sister Tilly. Initially pragmatic and cautious she becomes more adventurous and empathetic as she travels through her sister's Dungeons and Dragon Module.

A freshman who works at the local RPG store. He's a little round on the edges as his favorite snacks are Funyuns and Twizzlers. A Dungeons and Dragons expert that Agnes enlists to help her work through Tilly's module. He is quirky, enthusiastic, awkward, and flirty at times. He's the perfect mix of comedic relief and sincerity.

Agnes's football playing, jock of a boyfriend. He cares for Agnes, but struggles to understand her new obsession with Dungeons and Dragons. He turns from dumb meathead jock to a supporting partner in Agnes' journey. This character will double as other monsters

Kaliope is an athletic staff wielding dark elf who is an expert tracker. Part of Tillius' campaign party. She is graceful, skilled, formal, and not very good with emotions. In the real world Kelly is a student with a physical disability.

Lilith is a fierce Demon Queen with a cool axe. She's the Brawn and the Beauty. Strong, confident, and loyal. Lily outside of the game is your classic nerd who only had one true friend. She shared a close relationship with Tilly (possibly romantic).

Orcus is the comical demon who is the Overlord of the Underworld. He is lazy and loves watching TV. In the real world he is Ronnie, just as lazy as his character and a friend to Tilly.

Vera is Agnes's best friend. She is a sharpshooter with no room for B.S. She will tell you exactly what she's thinking. Also a senior and also a cheerleader (but doesn't seem too happy about it). She provides grounding influence and support to Agnes as she embarks on this emotional journey. This character will double as other monsters.

Evil Freshman Cheerleaders. They are Tilly's tormentors. They bully Tilly and call her harsh names (slurs are used). They are preppy and engage in a sick dance battle. They seem to be the only monsters that get under Tilly's skin. These characters will double as other monsters.

Recurring character in Tilly's Dungeons and Dragons campaign. Steve the Great Mage is expendable and the comic relief who dies over, and over, and over, and over, and over again.

There are various monsters that need to be played, by several people. These vary from Koblads, to Faeries, to shapeshifters, to a gelatinous cube to the BIG BOSS. If cast in this role, will learn how to use and potentially help create puppets.
