Looking for Talent in "The Cream of Wheat Caper" Play
"The Cream of Wheat Caper: A melodrama on the Red River" seeks talent. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Info about the play: This is a traditional melodrama for all ages and will feature puppets by Oliver Hebert, commissioned especially for this production. It is a one-act play, running approximately 60 minutes, and includes 8 songs. Rate: *This is a paid gig. All actors will receive a modest stipend following the final performance. Additional info: Performance dates: Aug. 15 and 22 at 7 pm; Aug. 16 and 23 at 2 pm Rehearsals begin in mid-July and will take place on evenings and/or weekends, depending on cast availability. Deadline is June 21st. When applying, please send a video audition including: a 1-minute comic monologue and 32 bars of an up-tempo song.

Includes lines and singing; doubles as Train conductor who serves as narrator at times.
Youth, could use more aerobic activity -- easily out of breath.
A suffragist, and member of the 1st graduating class at UND - smart, strong, capable - but not much of a singer - does have a short song.
