Singing Audition for "Fiddler On The Roof" Play

Join the singing auditions for the play “Fiddler on the Roof”. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Story Summary: Set in the small village of Anatevka, Fiddler on the Roof follows Tevye, a humble milkman, as he navigates life with his five daughters, a devoted community, and a world that is changing faster than anyone expected. Filled with laughter, love, heartbreak, and hope, this timeless story explores the bonds of family, the challenge of change, and the traditions that shape who we are. Rate: Roles are unpaid. Additional info: Children 12 years and older may audition for an ensemble role with parental permission. Audition Requirements: A 1-2-minute monologue and a 1-2-minute song in the style of the role you're auditioning for (but not a song from Fiddler). Suggested musicals include She Loves Me, My Fair Lady, Brigadoon, Ragtime, or any classic Broadway musical. Invited Callbacks: Monday, July 6, 6-9pm Rehearsals will begin August 17th and run through October 8th, with rehearsals on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings, 6pm - 9:30pm. Not everyone will be called for every rehearsal, and in some cases not the entirety of a rehearsal. We will work with reasonable conflicts to the best of our ability. Availability will be considered as part of casting decisions. Q2Q will be October 10. Time TBD, likely 10am-4pm (Non-Exempt date) Tech/Dress will be October 12 - 15. Times are TBD, likely 6pm-10pm (Non-Exempt dates) Performance Dates: October 16 - November 1: Three weekends; Friday at 7pm, and Saturday and Sunday at 2:30pm. If you are interested please apply.
