Looking for an 8-10-year-old Asian actress for "Bo" Proof of Concept Short Film. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: A quiet young girl must find her voice and inner strength to save her beloved dog while adjusting to life on her estranged father’s rural Texas farm, thousands of miles away from the home she left behind. Rate: This is a low-budget proof-of-concept production. Funding at this stage is limited, but meals will be provided, and participants will receive footage for their reels/portfolios. Bonus-eligible upon grant reception. Asian or mixed Asian heritage. - Quiet, thoughtful, and adventurous - Bilingual (Optional but heavily recommended) Actors who can speak Thai, Lao, Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean (or another Asian language that reflects their background) are heavily encouraged to apply. Ideally, we would love commit to an actress who may also be interested in participating in a future production of the full short film.
