Casting Girl for "Wait Until Dark" Show
Looking for Equity girl ages 12-13 yeras old for "Wait Until Dark" Show. Please see the details below. Rate: LORT Non-Rep $1320 weekly minimum (LORT B+) Additional info: BREAK: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition. Please bring a picture and resume and a selection(s) in the style of the shows, you are welcome to sing from the show/shows, or perform a monologue from show/shows. Directors would prefer two different short selections, to one long selection. Always bring your Equity Membership card to auditions. Gloria is at that very awkward age between childhood and adolescence. She is a bright child and has a good heart, but her home life is fairly rough (her mother is undependable, and her father abandoned the family not long ago) and she’s terribly uncomfortable in her body. Gloria wants desperately to be seen like a young woman – but she is very much still mired in childhood.
