Casting Kids for a Feature Film "Bellows River"
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Currently casting kids ages 5-9 for "Bellows River", a drama/thriller feature film set to be shot in Whitehorse the fall of 2026. See the details below. About the project: In the small mountain town of Bellows River, a struggling mother loses her son, and her life begins to unravel threatening to destroy everyone she loves while she is overcome with grief and rage. Rate: This is a NON-Union project. Additional information: Submission deadline: Monday May 18th. After reviewing applicants, second round of auditions over zoom will begin in early June.

Max is Lucy and Evan's son and the cornerstone of Lucy's sobriety and effort to clean up her life. He's sensitive, sweet, playful and full of life and the center of Lucy, Evan and Rachael's world. He is a sparkling presence in the bleak tone of the film, which makes his death a shocking, heart-wrenching loss. He becomes the innocent victim of Titus' crime, which triggers the fracturing of Lucy's mind.
Josie is a glowing symbol of innocence after Max's death. She's shy, quiet and gentle and is eventually caught in the middle of tragedy and the vengeful cross-hairs of Lucy. This role will require a quite varied emotional range.
