"Russell" — Independent Short Film (Atlanta)
Casting an independent short film for an upcoming psychological drama feature currently in development. Synopsis: In a small Southern town where people mysteriously fall into a catatonic state known as “the Quiet,” a young boy narrates the five warning signs while slowly realizing that the people meant to protect him may be carrying something far more dangerous. Shot on ARRI Alexa 35 with a professional cinematographer possessing major branded and narrative credits. SAG-AFTRA performers welcome under the SAG-AFTRA Short Film Agreement. Seeking local Atlanta/Georgia talent only. The shoot schedule will likely consist of one full day or two partial days in rural Georgia, approximately one hour from Atlanta, GA. IMPORTANT: This project contains emotionally intense family themes. All scenes involving minors will be handled carefully and age-appropriately with guardian presence required at all times. No physical contact or unsafe material involving minors will occur on set.

This role relies on stillness, listening, and natural presence rather than big dramatic acting. Seeking authenticity, innocence, emotional intelligence, and a calm speaking voice. No experience required. One full day or two partial days shooting in rural Georgia. Parent/guardian required on set at all times.
