12 Year Old Talented Actress Needed - Dark Drama
Tongue of a Bird by Ellen McLaughlin is a drama about Maxine, a skilled search-and-rescue pilot searching for a young girl abducted in the Adirondacks. While investigating, Maxine confronts memories of her mother’s suicide and abandonment, supported by her Polish grandmother, Zofia. The play explores themes of loss and motherhood. The script contains references to sexual assault, suicide and murder and it includes strong language. Charlotte, who is twelve years old, will also appear covered in blood at many points in the show. Parents and children must be okay with all of the above in order to portray the role accurately. Auditions for this role will take place on April 21st between 6 and 7 pm in Chicago. Rehearsals and Performances are both in the city beginning May 4th - August 1st. Details and sides will be sent with audition appointment time upon receipt of submission.
