About the project: Additional info: Callbacks: Sunday, April 26, 2026 from 6:00-10:00pm Read-thru & intro meeting: Monday, May 4, 2026 from 7:00pm-10:00pm Rehearsals: May 5 – July 3, 2026 Newhall 4th of July Parade: July 4th, 2026 time TBD Tech week: July 6 – 10, 2026 Performances: July 11-26, 2026 (exact schedule TBD) Pick-up rehearsal: Thursday, July 16, 2026 Auditioners will be asked to sing and dance during this step of the audition. For the dance portion, auditioners will: 1. Learn a short combo for the panel to get a feel for how you move. 2. Please wear clothing that moves well, closed-toe shoes, and SMILE. For the vocal portion, auditioners will: 1. Sing 16-32 bars of any musical theatre song in the style of the show. Singing from the show is acceptable. 2. You must bring your own track with no background vocals. Will have a Bluetooth speaker. If you are interested please apply.

Vocal range top: C5 Vocal range bottom: C4 Young Anastasia is the willful, brave, proud, and precocious youngest daughter of the Tsar. She has a special bond with her grandmother (whom she calls Nana). This is a cameo role at the beginning of the show. After that, this actor will become part of the and ensemble.
Vocal range: any Alexei is the Tsarevich (heir to the throne) and only boy of the Romanov siblings. He suffers from debilitating hemophelia. Anya mentions that he was her best friend. This is a cameo role at the beginning of the show. After that, this actor will become part of the ensemble.
Vocal range: soprano or alto The other Romanov sisters. Will become part of the ensemble when not a Romanov sister.
Vocal range: soprano or alto A featured dance role in the opening sequence. Will become part of the ensemble.
The Ensemble has a TON to do in this show and plays a vast array of featured characters. The Ensemble plays Townsfolk, Royal Servants, Bolshevik Officers and Soldiers, Parisians, Reporters, and Aristocrats.
