Performers ages 10-17 years old are welcome to audition for "Dare to Dream" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Disney’s Dare to Dream Jr.—a celebration of courage, imagination, and the power of believing in yourself. This production brings to life some of Disney’s most inspiring stories, reminding us all that dreams really can come true. Please select an audition time below that works best for you. We encourage you to come ready to shine, have fun, and share your unique spark with us. Whether this is your first time on stage or one of many, we are so excited to see what you bring to the room. Break a leg—we can’t wait to begin this journey with you! Additional info: At auditions, you’ll: -Learn a short dance combo — please come dressed to move (closed-toe shoes, no sandals/flip flops!) -Sing a 30–60 second cut of a Disney song that shows off your voice and personality -Please fill out your audition form attached ahead of time for a smooth check-in Callbacks May 21 (if needed). Players 1 and 2 are Imagineers who serve as mentors and teachers to the Junior Imagineers, guiding them through their training. They lead the cast with confidence and wisdom: Player 1: A polished, Type-A leader who approaches challenges with focus and determination. Player 2: Lighthearted and humorous, often using comedy to connect with the trainees and keep the energy playful. Featured Songs: Be Our Guest, Hakuna Matata / Bare Necessities

Player 3Both genders10-17 y.o.All ethnicities

Player 3 is a thoughtful Imagineer-in-training who hasn’t yet discovered her dream. She worries about falling behind her peers, but while she is eager to learn, she is less confident than the other students. Featured Songs: Surface Pressure, Go the Distance

Player 4Both genders10-17 y.o.All ethnicities

Player 4 is a kind and supportive friend who helps Player 3 on her journey to discover her dream. Always encouraging, Player 4 sees the upside in every situation and motivates Player 3 to keep moving forward, even when she feels defeated. Featured Songs: Dig a Little Deeper, Nonsense Medley

Player 5 is a confident and boisterous student who, over the course of the play, learns that it’s okay to slow down and take things one step at a time. Impatient and sometimes speaking without all the information, Player 5 can be a bit clumsy—but never mean toward the other Junior Imagineers. Players 6 and 7 are filled with a sense of adventure and curiosity, eager to explore and experience the world around them. Player 8 is a bold and charismatic performer who should steal the show with Friend Like Me, bringing bravado and personality to the stage. Player 11 is first featured as a hopeful and earnest character in Out There and later takes on the role of an enthusiastic cheerleader, encouraging the group with Try Everything. Players 12 and 13 each have small solos in the sweeping anthem from Pocahontas. They must be able to hold their own part as the song branches into five-part harmony, with smaller featured moments than Players 6 and 7, but still adding richness and depth to the ensemble. The final Player to be revealed, Player 15 presents the heartwarming idea that our families share in our dreams, passing down hopes and wishes from generation to generation.
