About the project: After the sudden death of a fellow Navy veteran, a grieving husband and father begins to quietly unravel as his faith collides with loss, hypocrisy, and unanswered questions, forcing him to confront what belief means when certainty is gone. PROJECT OVERVIEW: Where He Is is a restrained, character-driven drama exploring grief, doubt, and faith without easy answers. Told through intimate conversations and moments of silence, the film follows a Navy veteran navigating loss while trying to remain present for his family, even as the beliefs that once grounded him begin to slip. This is a proof-of-concept short, designed to showcase performance, tone, and emotional depth rather than spectacle. The film prioritizes realism, subtlety, and lived-in performances.
