This is Iris's role as a child. She watched as her family constantly favored her younger brother, yet she could do nothing to change it. All she could do was peek into the world beyond her home at night through the blogs she collected.
Yangyang was the youngest son in the family, raised in an environment of excessive indulgence. This stunted his emotional growth and left him without a mature sense of right and wrong. It directly led to his disappearance—the only image his mother could etch into her memory.
