About the project: A young teen girl experiences loss and life through coming of age in a world where girls are born with their hearts attached to their exterior bodies. Rate: Non-Union. This is a volunteer-based project. Credit and food/snacks provided. Additional information: Audition Location Online. Shoot/Performance Date(s) Tentative Shoot Feb 28th - March 1st. A bright yet fragile young teenage girl who wears her emotions on her sleeve... literally. With her, she carries a jar containing a heart sewn to her wrist. Must convey vulnerability, innocence, and internal conflict through physical acting.
Adria's friend. Reserved and emotionally numb. A foil to Adria's liveliness. Actor should be comfortable performing a violent action scene (smashing a prop jar).
Older teen boy. Confident but manipulative, masking predatory behaviour with charm. Requires nuanced emotional control and the ability to perform intense scenes.
