About the project: The story follows sisters Ava and Sophia as they visit their grandmother. While there, all they want to do is stay on their phones and text their friends—until a sudden Wi-Fi outage disrupts their plans and forces them to truly connect with one another. The film is warm, nostalgic, and intimate, exploring the theme of human connection across generations. Logline: When phone-obsessed sisters Ava and Sophia visit their grandmother, a sudden Wi-Fi outage forces them to discover that meaningful connections don't need a signal. Rate: Union & Non-Union. Unpaid. Meals and Transportation will be provided. Additional information: Shooting Dates: February 13–16. Location: Scarborough and Richmond Hill (transportation provided if needed).
