About the project: The famed 250-room home of George and Edith Vanderbilt, constructed in 1895, will serve as the backdrop to another magical, whimsical romance to premiere during Hallmark's 2026 Countdown to Christmas programming event. The story is set on Christmas Eve 1895, on the opening of Biltmore House. Elizabeth, 13, and her family are holiday guests. She notices fellow teen, Michael, is caught trespassing by the staff. Elizabeth claims to know him, saving him, and the two share an instant connection. But while they are exploring Biltmore, Michael inexplicably vanishes. Two decades later, Elizabeth returns to Biltmore House with her suitor, James, whom she is expected to wed, and is unexpectedly reunited with Michael at the Christmas gala. A magical hourglass in Biltmore House's Library sends Elizabeth and Michael on time-traveling adventures and to question the world around them. Viewers will have to watch the movie this holiday season to find out the couple's fate. The new holiday love story is a standalone tale, and not a sequel to the first movie. It will star Holland Roden ("Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story," "Teen Wolf") and Niall Matter ("We Met in December," "This Time Each Year"), with Jonathan Frakes ("Star Trek: Picard") reprising his role from "A Biltmore Christmas." Rate: The wage is $120 for eight hours, with overtime after eight hours. Additional info: Beginning Jan. 13, casting directors will be booking extras - actors who may be in the background or cast for smaller roles in the movie. Casting will continue throughout the filming schedule, so those who do not hear back immediately may still be contacted through early February. Filming will take place between Jan. 12 and Feb. 2.
