"The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical" Seeks Kids

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Seeking anyone 13 years old or older for "The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical". See the details below. About the project: As the teenage half-blood son of a Greek god, Percy Jackson has newly-discovered powers he can't control, a destiny he doesn't want, and a mythology textbook's worth of monsters on his trail. When Zeus's master lightning bolt is stolen and Percy becomes the prime suspect, he and his friends have to find and return the bolt to prove his innocence and prevent a war between the gods. But to succeed on this quest, they will have to do more than catch the thief. Percy must travel to the Underworld and back; solve the riddle of the Oracle, which warns him of betrayal by a friend; and come to terms with the father who abandoned him. Additional info: Callbacks, if needed, will be January 18. Please prepare an audition song of no more than 32 bars (60-90 seconds) in the style of the show. Please bring an accompaniment track or karaoke track. (No pianist will be provided) Also be prepared to read a scene from a script. Show performances are April 17-26, 2026.
