ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking kids ages 8-12 for a short film "Blind Spot". Please, see the details below. About the project: Dystopian Drama Short Film. In a post-war dystopia, inside an abandoned airport terminal where bodies are scanned, sorted, and erased, a war photographer and two displaced children struggle to remain unseen—and human—in a system that no longer recognizes either. Rate: Non-Union. This is a volunteer-based production. There is no financial compensation for cast or crew. However, catering and crafty will be provided during all shoot days. Participants will receive screen credit and a digital copy of the final film for use in their personal portfolios or demo reels. Additional information: Shoot/Performance Date(s) 15-18 Feb. Elara is bold, calm, and emotionally mature beyond her years. She leads through instinct and silence. Her tone is flat, deliberate, almost robotic at times. Movement skills, still presence, and intense eye contact are essential.
