Casting actors ages 12 and up for "When The Man Comes Around" Narrative Film. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: When a listless music teacher discovers his wife’s infidelity, he allows his dark side to take over, subsequently unleashing his untapped talents and sending him on an explosive exploration of revenge and self-discovery. Rate: Eli Grapes: $175-$250/full day, $100-$150/half day. Patrick Keaton: $100-$150 per half-day. Additional info: This project will commence in early June, but directors are casting now to give actors time to get to know each other and thoroughly prepare through rehearsals and team-building activities, before filming. The total shoot will span 7 days, followed by 3-5 months of post-production, after which the final film will begin its festival circuit in January 2027. Length: 1 full day (8-12 hours), possibly a half day. Must be a competent to expert-level guitarist. Eli is a boy band looking pretty boy and one of the snobby rich kids at school. He is very talented at guitar and actually produced a music video of an original song of his that went viral on TikTok. His goal is to become a famous musician, and his parents are willing to pay whatever it takes to help him achieve that. He has a pompous attitude towards everyone.
Length: 3 half days (4-6 hours) Must be competent with bass guitar. Patrick is laid back and quiet, but very smart and has a good ability to read people. He is generally a quiet kid but his sense of humor is a punch line only style where he doesn't chime in until the last minute and when he does, everyone laughs. He is generally liked throughout his school. He loves his parents dearly and despite other kids his age, he thoroughly enjoys spending time with both of them.
