About the project: A South Asian short film exploring womanhood, devotion, and desire. Set against the intimacy of a wedding, Jhoom blends ritual, emotion, and the unseen. As her Mehndi Deepens, a bride encounters marked spirits that blur te line between devotion and desire-twisting celebration into dread, pulling her toward a truth se can no longer ignore. Additional information: South Asian actors (preference for Pakistani, Indian, Bangladeshi, or related diasporic identities) fluency in Hindi/Urdu is required. Shoot Dates: Feb 7–9, 2026.
