Young Talent Wanted for Singing Audition "Seussical JR."

"Seussical JR." Auditions are open to 3rd- to 8th-grade students. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community are challenged and emerge triumphant! Additional info: Rehearsals are scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8pm and Sundays from 1-4pm. The shows are scheduled for April 24-26. Note: There is a participation fee for this production. After the director receives a completed form, they will email you more information to help prepare for auditions. PARENTS/GUARDIANS: PLEASE NOTE that the production team is much smaller for this show. Directors are not going to be able to cast as many children as we have in the past.
